Before you sign up, know this
Three things surprise people, so we are putting them first rather than burying them.
If you are not comfortable with a permanent public competitive record under a gamertag, please do not sign up. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Who we are
Ultimate Clubs Association ("UCA", "we", "us") runs competitive EA SPORTS FC Pro Clubs 11v11 leagues: clubs and rosters, fixtures, official results, standings, player statistics, disputes, and public player and club profiles.
- UCA is not an incorporated company. It is an unincorporated competitive organization run by volunteers.
- UCA is free. There are no payments, subscriptions, or billing of any kind, and we do not collect financial information.
- UCA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by EA SPORTS or Electronic Arts Inc. EA SPORTS FC is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a UCA account or take part in a UCA competition. Registration by anyone under 13 is prohibited. We do not ask for your date of birth at registration, so we rely on you to be honest about your age.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and stop them competing. Closing an account works as described in Account Deletion — note in particular that we cannot currently guarantee complete erasure.
Some competitions or roles may carry additional requirements set by league staff, announced in the official Discord.
Your account and security
To register you provide three things: a display name, an email address, and a password. You can also sign in with Discord, which shares only your basic identity and email with us.
Your responsibilities:
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade a sanction or to appear on more than one roster.
- Keep your email address current — it is what you sign in with. Staff will not contact you by email; all support happens in the official Discord.
While signed in you can change your own password and email at /profile/settings. Self-serve password reset by email is switched off — if you are locked out, contact staff in the official Discord. If you ever receive an email claiming to be UCA support, it is not us.
Profiles and the content you post
You keep ownership of what you upload — your avatar, your club crest, your club description, and anything else you submit.
By submitting it, you give UCA permission to store it and display it on the platform, including on pages visible to people who are not signed in, and in the metadata and share images generated for a public profile. This permission lasts as long as we keep the record, which for competitive history means indefinitely.
You confirm that:
- You have the right to upload what you upload.
- It does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- It is not abusive, hateful, harassing, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate for a community that includes 13-year-olds.
When you upload an image we re-encode it, resize it, and strip the hidden camera data some files carry, including location. We can remove content from UCA pages at any time, without notice. Be aware of what removal does not do: an already-uploaded image keeps its direct address, so anyone who saved that address may still be able to open it, and content that is part of a competition record stays in that record.
Club branding
If you create or manage a club, you grant UCA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and display your club's name, tag, crest, colors, and description across the platform — on club pages, fixture listings, standings, match pages, and player profiles — and to keep them in the permanent public record of the competitions your club played in.
You confirm you have the right to grant that permission. If you use someone else's logo or mark without permission, that is your responsibility, and we will remove it when we find out. Removing branding from live pages does not remove it from historical competitive records.
Competition participation
Playing in UCA means playing in good faith. You agree not to:
- Fix, throw, or pre-arrange a result.
- Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized software.
- Field ineligible players, or play under another person's account or gamertag.
- Submit false results, false statistics, or fabricated evidence.
- Harass opponents, teammates, or staff.
The Code of Conduct sets out the behavior rules in full and forms part of these terms. Clubs are responsible for their own rosters; managers are responsible for fielding eligible players and for their club's conduct.
Official results and statistics
Results and statistics reach UCA in two ways: AutoStats, which pulls match data from EA's Pro Clubs API on our servers, and manual submission and review by administrators.
- All EA requests are made server-side. Your browser never contacts EA on our behalf.
- EA-sourced data can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. We do not control it and we do not guarantee it.
- Every AutoStats result is subject to administrative review, correction, or replacement.
- AutoStats can be switched off entirely, in which case results are handled manually.
What an administrator records as the official result stands as the official result for competitive purposes — standings, qualification, awards, and records. Statistics attached to that result are official in the same way.
Sanctions
When these terms, the code of conduct, or the competition rules are broken, staff can apply sanctions proportionate to what happened — from warnings through result corrections, points deductions, and suspensions, up to removing a club from a competition or closing an account. Staff may also suspend immediately, before a review concludes, where the situation calls for it.
The full ladder is set out in the Code of Conduct. Sanctions are recorded internally, and if a sanction is lifted or expires, its competitive consequences — a voided result, a points deduction — stay in the permanent record.
Club ownership and franchise continuity
A club in UCA is a franchise, not just a name. Each club has a manager and a roster, and its competitive record belongs to the franchise.
- If a club changes owner or manager, the record — results, standings history, statistics — stays with the club.
- If a club rebrands, its history follows the new name. Past fixtures still happened.
- If a club folds, its completed matches and the statistics from them remain in the record.
If a manager is sanctioned or has their account closed mid-season, the club does not automatically disappear. Staff decide what happens next — whether the club continues under a replacement manager, is withdrawn, or has results adjusted. Either way, matches already played stay in the record, and roster players keep their own accounts and statistics.
If you manage a club, you must arrange a handover before your account can be closed. See Account Deletion.
Staff decide questions of franchise continuity — whether a new club is a continuation of an old one, or a genuinely new entry — and those decisions are final for competitive purposes.
Service availability
UCA is free and run by volunteers. We do not guarantee uptime.
The platform may be slow, unavailable, or partially broken at any time — planned maintenance, a hosting or database provider issue, an EA API outage, or simply a bug. Competitions may be delayed, restructured, paused, or cancelled.
When something significant is going on we will normally post about it in the official Discord, but we cannot promise notice for every incident and we do not commit to a response time. That is deliberately all we are promising — we would rather say so plainly than publish a service level we cannot back.
Suspension, closure, and deletion
You can stop using UCA at any time. If you want your account closed, ask staff privately in the official Discord. Closure is handled manually, and we do not promise a processing time.
Staff may delay or decline a closure request where the account holds manager, administrative, competition, dispute, or integrity obligations. There is no self-service deletion and no self-service data export.
We can also remove an account's access to competitions, or close an account, ourselves — with notice where practical, immediately where the situation calls for it — for breaches of these terms or the code of conduct, for cheating or result manipulation, for abuse toward players or staff, or where an account appears to belong to someone under 13.
Intellectual property
The UCA name, logo, site design, and platform code are not yours to reuse, and these terms do not grant you any license to them. You may link to UCA pages and share public results, standings, and profile pages freely — that is what they are for.
Club and player content belongs to whoever created it, licensed to us as described above. If you believe something on UCA infringes your rights, report it in the official Discord with enough detail to identify the content and we will look into it.
EA SPORTS non-affiliation
UCA is an independent community competition. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or administered by Electronic Arts Inc. or EA SPORTS. EA SPORTS FC is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc.
Match data we retrieve from EA's Pro Clubs API is EA's data, delivered on EA's terms and availability. Your use of EA SPORTS FC itself is governed by your agreements with EA, not by these terms. Any changes EA makes to the game, its clubs features, or its API can affect UCA competitions, and we may have to adapt formats or scoring as a result.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In plain terms, we do not warrant that:
- The platform will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- Results, statistics, or EA-sourced data will be complete or accurate.
- Any competition will start, continue, or finish.
- Data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UCA and the volunteers who run it are not liable for knock-on losses — indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost opportunity, or lost competitive standing — arising from your use of the platform or your participation in a competition.
UCA is free to use and collects no payment from you, so there is no fee against which a liability cap could be measured. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility for claims about your content
You are responsible for the content you put on UCA — your avatar, club name and tag, crest and colors, and descriptions. If someone else claims rights over something you uploaded, that claim follows you, not us. We will take the content down and may ask you to cover what it costs us to deal with it.
No arbitration clause, no class-action waiver
These terms contain no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver. We are not asking you to give up your right to go to court or to join a group claim, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law that applies to you where you live.
Governing law
We have not yet chosen the law and location that would apply to a legal dispute with UCA. Until that is decided and published in this section, nothing in these terms selects a law or a forum, and your rights under the law that applies to you where you live are unaffected.
If you have a problem with UCA, the fastest route is still to raise it in the official Discord.
General terms
If part of this is unenforceable. If a court decides any part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is treated as removed and the rest stays in force.
Not enforcing something once is not giving it up. If staff let something slide, that does not waive the rule or stop us enforcing it later.
Transfer. You cannot transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anyone else. If UCA later incorporates, or hands operation of the leagues to another organization, these terms and your account can move with it, and we will announce that in the official Discord.
No employment or partnership. These terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint-venture, or team-membership relationship between you and UCA. Titles like "manager", "admin", and "commissioner" describe roles inside the competition. They are not jobs, they are not paid, and they do not make anyone an employee or representative of UCA.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms as the platform changes. When we do, we update the "last updated" date at the top and announce material changes in the official Discord. If you keep using UCA after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting the updated terms. If you do not accept them, ask staff to close your account.
We do not currently ask you to tick a box accepting these terms at registration, and we do not store a record of acceptance. We are stating that plainly rather than implying a consent record we do not hold.
Contact
The official UCA Discord is currently our only support channel. There is no UCA support email address — if you see one claiming to be UCA, it is not us. Establishing a stable contact address is on our pre-launch list.
Use Discord for account recovery, closure requests, dispute questions, content reports, competition rules, and anything about these terms.
